Winner of the 2021 Cleveland International Piano Competition and Third Prize winner at the 2021 International Chopin Piano Competition, Weller Artists is delighted to welcome Martin Garcia Garcia to its roster for representation in Scandinavia, German speaking countries & North America.
Martín’s rigorous musical training laid the foundation for his success. He graduated from the Reina Sofía School of Music, where he studied for a decade under Professor Galina Eguiazarova and was named the Most Outstanding Student of her piano studio, an honor presented by Her Majesty Queen Sofía. He went on to complete a master’s degree in piano at New York’s Mannes School of Music with renowned pianist Jerome Rose. His musical journey began at the age of five under the guidance of Natalia Mazoun and Ilya Goldfarb.
In recent seasons, Martín has consolidated his reputation as one of the leading pianists of his generation, appearing with ensembles such as Symphoniker Hamburg, the Warsaw Philharmonic, the Spanish National Orchestra, the Barcelona Symphony (OBC), Sinfonia Varsovia, the Tokyo Philharmonic, the NHK Symphony Orchestra, the Seoul Philharmonic, the Brasília Orchestra, and the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, among others. He has performed under the baton of celebrated conductors including Mikhail Pletnev, Vasily Petrenko, and Andrey Boreyko.
The 2025/26 season is especially notable: Martín embarks on his eighth tour of Japan, where his concerts draw a cumulative audience of 25,000—testament to his remarkable popularity in the region. Alongside major European engagements, he appears in Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Australia, and makes a much-anticipated return to Mexico.
